Site offline, device down, camera degraded — alerts go to the operator responsible for that site, with routing rules on Operations plans. Basic health alerts are included in every plan.

How is this different from a ping tool?
Checks run from inside the site over the hub, results are tied to the same permissions and site model as your video and router access, and a failure flows straight into the next step: open the router session and fix it — in the same tab.
What counts as an actively-monitored device?
A device you deliberately put under watch — with status history and alerts. Discovery of everything connected is included free; you meter only what you promote to active monitoring.
Will it spam my team?
Alerts are per-site and routed. A flapping device rolls up into one incident rather than forty emails, and routing rules send each site’s alerts to the person on duty for it.
What if the whole site loses power or internet?
The hub’s tunnel drops, and that itself is the alert — you know within the check interval. History records the outage window, and everything reconnects automatically when the site comes back.
