Browser-based CCTV
Remote CCTV, minus the viewing software.
Open a browser, pick a site, watch live. Every camera at every location — without installing a viewer app, distributing VPN credentials, or opening a single inbound port.
What live viewing actually looks like
Any modern browser
Current Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari on desktop and mobile. Nothing to install, license, or push through IT change control.
Every site in one grid
Per-site camera walls or cross-site grids — the register cams from nine stores on one screen, if that is how you work.
Latency you can plan around
Live view is built for operations — confirming a store is open, a door is locked, a fix worked. Expect a short, connection-dependent delay, not broadcast-grade zero.
Camera health included
A camera that silently dies is the one you needed. Monitoring flags no-signal and degraded cameras the moment it happens.
Cloud recording that answers questions
Continuous and event-based recording with configurable retention, priced per camera by retention window, resolution, and mode. Playback lives in the same browser tab as live view — scrub back to the incident, export the clip, done. How recordings are stored, encrypted, retained, and deleted is documented on the Trust page.
Recording storage & retention on Trust →Honest expectations
The answers a facilities manager actually needs before switching.
Which cameras work?
Watchario supports Hikvision cameras — we confirm your exact models and firmware during your demo. The on-site hub discovers cameras on the local network; the Compatibility page lists exactly what is supported before you commit.
Do I keep my NVR?
Yes, if you have one — Watchario layers on top rather than replacing it. Cloud recording works alongside or instead of local recording, depending on how you configure retention.
How does video leave the site securely?
Through the same encrypted outbound WireGuard tunnel as everything else. No camera or NVR is ever exposed to the internet, and no inbound port is opened. Where encryption terminates and what the relay can see is answered on the Trust page.
Is live viewing unlimited?
Routine live viewing is included in every plan. If you run a wall of continuous streams all day, that usage belongs in Multi-site Operations or Enterprise — we will tell you before it costs you anything.
Who can see which cameras?
Permissions are per site and per camera. A store manager can see their store; an area lead their region; and every view is tied to a named account.
Watch your own cameras in the demo.
Bring a site with Hikvision cameras — we'll show it live in a browser during the call.
